Por fin! Symmetry Mode! Ah, y el "merge vertex" es como en XSI cuando activas el modo Weld en el (M)ove tool que te permite arrastrar un vertice a otro para "pegarlos".
Maya Assets
With Maya Assets, complex data can be effectively organized, shared, referenced, and presented. Maya Assets enables you to encapsulate a set of nodes into a container so that they can be treated as if they were a single node from a user’s perspective (selected attributes of interest from the contained nodes can be published to the container). This new feature also supports customized and user-specific views, flexible referencing, and the creation of customized libraries.
Voy a ignorar el hecho de que la descripcion suena muchisimo al concepto de un "compound" node de XSI y mencionar que esto seria el equivalente a un "model null". Es un contenedor de nodos (objetos/todo en maya), que permite referencing y ser reusado entre otras cosas.. a alguien le suena familiar? XD

Ya era hora! Un intento de tener la flexibilidad de las particiones y passes en XSI. Tambien segun lei por otra parte incluye mejor soporte para framebuffers, que funcionan de maravilla en XSI desde la v6.
Hmmm.. si... cuanta innovacion! XDDDD
