:) queria instalar el python a mi xsi,pero el problemilla es q uso la version 64bits y estube leyendo la ayuda y me dice"Si está utilizando Windows de 64 bits, hay una versión especial de XSI que ha instalado Python ya disponible"
y hay un link a la web de softimage,pero no entiendo jejejje.!
existe ?,ya viene en la version 6.5,o toy meramente mamand.... XD

No lo he probado pero según las instrucciones de la web de Softimage debes primero instalar desde acá (http://activestate.com/store/freedownload.aspx?prdGuid=b08b04e0-6872-4d9d-a722-7a0c2dea2758) ActivePython para win 64 bits y luego la extension de XSI (http://webrel2.softimage.com/open/products/xsi/current/Python64/pywin32-207.win64-py2.4.exe) O0

No es una version especial de XSI. Es un "extra" necesario (tras instalar ActivePython) para que funcione en XSI.

morphi, pero no se supone que para 64bit hay que instalar ActivePython de ActiveState, no el Python normal.. e instalar los Python 64bit extensions de la web de softimage?? ???

Esta es la ultima versión, en teoría chuta con XSI, eso dicen freakys del Python y el XSI, esta es la versión para 64b d 64b, creo la explicación que había en la lista de softy se refería a instalar Python 32 en un win 64. No se como estará el tema en el 7, aun no me ha llegado en el curro.
A ver si los d trigital se lo curran prontito.
Si, Alanf, hay un pack para instalar el Python como dices, xsi usando Python y las extensiones de 64, err.... python26b2.amd64 esta en el Softy|Net a ver si lo encuentro..

En la pagina de descargas (http://softimage.com/downloads/XSI_Advanced/default.aspx), hay un link que pone "Python - Vista 64-bit (http://webrel2.softimage.com/open/products/xsi/currentv7/PythonAMD64.zip)" y hasta hay instrucciones (http://softimage.com/downloads/Python_install_instructions.asp)!
