hombre, yo tambien habia leido que los programas 3d rendian menos en MAC. Pero de eso hace ya años. Se decia que el MAC era mas lento en el tema 3d y mas rapido en el 2d.

pues yo estoy ed acuerdo con chuela, en todas las comparativas que he visto, y oomentarios de usuarios, mac en 3d sale perdiendo.

como podrás comprobar en estas comparativas en Maya y mentalray, renderizando, q es un proceso de cálculo puro dnd solo intervienen los procesadores, el bus y la memoria, un simple Pentium4 es más rápido q un DualG5 2ghz. (el más rápido q existe) El dualXeon es q se va de lejos siendo incomparablemente superior al dualG5, pues parece una broma de mal gusto q te cobren más de 3000 euros por esa máquina tan lenta, simplemente pq tiene curvas y tiene un interior "bonito".

ocurre lo mismo nuevamente. los G5 son una "bonita" estafa.

aquí veras otras pruebas realizadas por la revista MACWORLD, q todos sabemos q es proApple, dnd los PC´s son hasta el triple de rápidos q los dualG5. (contradictoriamente con la manipuladisima publicidad de Apple)

Los G5 no tienen gráficas profesionales. solo de videojuegos. otro detalle q habla de la diferencia entre apple y los PC´s. aunq he oido q 3dlabs está adaptando las wildcat4 para G5. aun así son tarjetas muy desfasadas q nada tienen q hacer contra las quadro o firegl.

Prueba de q alias simplemente ha tanteado el mercado de Apple, es q la versión de gama Alta: Maya unlimited, no existe para Mac. solo la version de consumo: Maya complete.

Steve Jobs es el presidente de Pixar, y esta empresa usa PC´s y SGI. curioso no?

Lightwave existe para Mac desde hace años, y el Maya recientemente, y sin embargo a casi nadie se le ocurre usar estos programas en Mac, pq pueden usarlos mucho más eficientemente en un PC q vale menos de la mitad de precio. Si no te gusta windows, puedes usarlos con Linux en PC.

Lo único pendiente en los duales Pc´s es el ruido, pero eso está mejorando. los DualOpteron no son ruidosos.

Los G5 son actualmente buenos ordenadores. son rápidos en comparación con los G4, pero son muy caros y más lentos q los PC´s en casi todo. y sus curvas no justifican cambiarse a mac. incluso en el gremio del diseño están perdiendo terreno. actualmente se ven tanto estudios de diseño de q usan mac, como q usan pc´s, cuando antes todos usaban mac.

WUAUUUUUUUUU  O0 Mu wenas comparativas matusalen!!! Me he quedado pillado, dios!!! puto amd opteron!! Bufff y los sillicon, hostia la de millones que te vale uno de ellos y miralos, a diferencia del opteron o de los xeon, manda cuyons!!!!!

Por cierto, habéis visto la nueva herramienta Create>Skeleton>Create Tail ? Creas una curva, aplicas esta herramienta y le dices el número de huesos que quieres que tenga y voilà, te hace una cola con overlaping

Por cierto, habéis visto la nueva herramienta Create>Skeleton>Create Tail ? Creas una curva, aplicas esta herramienta y le dices el número de huesos que quieres que tenga y voilà, te hace una cola con overlaping

Eso se podia hacer en versiones anteriores. Para quien no tenga la 4, puede hacerlo creando una cadena de huesos y una curva con los mismos puntos. Entonces, haces un contraint de la cada hueso a cada punto de la curva. Animas la curva y al final le añades el deformador "quickstreech".

D este modo puedes crear una cadena con squash and stretch?
Hoy lo comentaba con un compañero del foro, crear un esqueleto con propiedadesd d squash and stretch para deformar bien un personaje tipo cartoon.
