The big news at NAB 2004 was the announcement of SOFTIMAGE|XSI v.4.0. The
latest version of XSI boasts some of the most innovative tools and features,
as well as new pricing and packaging that will surely entice you. We also announced

In other news, we re-launched the Softimage Store, expanding our offers to include

the leading talent from up-and-coming animators worldwide. "Be The Hero" invites both full
and part-time students to submit a piece of animation, which could win them one of three two-part
prizes. Top prizes include a production license of SOFTIMAGE|XSI, with one year's maintenance for
the winner, plus Academic versions of the industry's leading nonlinear software system for the
winner's home institution. First prize is a production license of SOFTIMAGE|XSI Advanced, and 10
